About

“Film editing is now something almost everyone can do at a simple level and enjoy it, but to take it to a higher level requires the same dedication and persistence that any art form does.”
-Walter Murch

Editing is an art. Short films are like fine paintings, documentaries I akin to the craft of still photography, and to edit a feature film is to write a concerto. Anyone can doodle on a page, snap a picture on their cell phone, or tinkle the ivories, but that doesn’t make everyone a Degas, an Adams, or a Beethoven.

My passion for editing originated in high school, when I took a film class for fun and discovered a passion. I attended Emerson College in Boston, (home of the prestigious Tappet Brothers,) where I received a Bachelors in Media Arts and minored in American Sign Language.

I have resided in Los Angeles since 2006, where I have spent my time working in post production editing reels, shorts, documentary form, scripted form, reality casting content, and currently a feature.
